Description: Fantastic, one of a kind vintage piece. Inlayed wood veneers with crest, university of Norte Dame. This piece was purchased at the estate of a Norte Dame grad and medical doctor in Seattle WA and believed to be made in approx the 1950's. Deep mahogany type wood with lighter wood inlay. Very good condition, no chips or breaks, light scuffs and scratches throughout. Large size decorative bowl, may be suitable for food use, but am unsure of the finish. Item has been been polished only in pure mineral oil in my possession. Size approximately 12" wide at lip, 6.5" tall. Base likely silver plate, unmarked.
