Description: For sale is a vintage 1950s Motorola brown/black swirl Bakelite AM band radio, model 5H1. I acquired this radio many years ago hoping to find the missing front metal logo badge that goes at the bottom of the dial pointer. I never found a reasonably priced one. I am now abandoning my search for it and offering it for sale. That missing logo badge is the only issue with the radio. No cracks or chips to the cabinet. No rust, odors or mice nests. Knobs and tubes are correct. Knobs turn as they should as does the dial indicator. Back cover is original and in good condition. Speaker looks great. The power cord is original, flexible and usable. When plugged in, the radio came on and stations were received throughout the dial. There was an occasional static. See video.
