Description: Vintage 1943 "Mr. Tibbs Passes Through" by Robert Neumann, son of a bank clerk of Jewish ancestry in Germany. All his early writings where burned by the Nazis and he exiled to Britain. He was one of the few writers in exile who managed to get published in England. This was his first book published in English. The book is in almost new condition no noticeable toning of the pages. I thumbed thru and didn't see any marks or tares on the pages. The binding is excellent and when you open it you can tell it's had very little use. Very nice book for 70 plus years old.
