Vintage 1940s Mauve Rayon Crepe Dress, 40s Medium/Large Pleated Peplum Dress

Description: Size: Medium/Large Garment MeasurementsWaist: 32.5"Bust: 40"Hips: 41"Shoulder to hem: 47" This classic vintage 1940s gown is made from a mauve rayon crepe with a nice drape and features pleated peplum detailing at the skirt. It comes with 3/4 length sleeves, pleated shoulders, and a the hemline falls to about the mid or lower calf depending on height. This dress closes with a metal zipper at the side and another metal zipper at the back of the neck. Condition: This dress comes with a some discoloration issues; please see photos for closeups. There is staining/fading at the underarms and some lighter/whiter spots at the peplum portion in the front of the skirt and near the hem of one of the sleeves. There is also a subtle fading or inconsistency in the color of the dress throughout. There is a tiny hole in the back of the skirt, but this is only noticeable when inspected closely.
