Description: Lot of quite a number of great 1940s horse show ribbons. Pinks, reds, blues, and ivory. Beautiful ribbons with gold stamped lettering on the tails and at the centers, with lovely ruffled pleated cockades. It seems like most of these are New York or east coast. Good for decorating, repurposing, framing, what have you. Please read condition and keep in mind these have quite a bit of wear and smell a bit musty. They're as-found and as-is. But so cool to see surviving 1940s horse ribbons! Condition--Used vintage condition with age wear. Some fading. One blue is missing the button in the middle. There are a few with significant foxing (brown spots). Pretty amazing survivors with really beautiful metal centers and cute fabric designs. These do smell a bit musty. These have stains, wear, some holes or rips, and do smell a little musty but are very beautiful for decor or collecting or framing. AS IS.Please ask any questions you may have before bidding.
