Description: Vintage 1940s Jantzen Bathing Swim Suit VLV Pinup. Fantastic black vintage sexy Jantzen women’s bathing suit. Metal zipper, adjustable halter top. Measures roughly 32 inches from the top of the strap to the crotch, 17 inches across the hip, 13 inches across the waist and 14 inches across the bust lying flat although it has a good deal of stretch so could likely fit somebody who is a contemporary size 10 or 12. The label says size 16. The crotch is lined and has a few tiny holes but no stains. See pic. The leg holes are elastic and still have amazing stretch, given the age of the item. Has wing like upward details at the edge of each bra cup. The fabric is black with a very subtle dot pattern. It’s a good dark black as depicted in the darkest picture. No stains or tears.
