Description: **Made in USA** This is an amazing piece of American History! It is a vintage/antique scarf of the American West. The theme is Rodeo! This powder blue scarf is in very good condition for its age. There are places of color on it, where I believe it was hand colored with some sort of dye. If you look at others, online, the same pattern of color can be found. The quality of satin makes this nearly impossible to photograph. The powder blue color is through and through, there are not any white spots like some of the photos show. The original black print is **slightly** lighter in the Nebraska area, I do not believe this is fading, I think it was upon the original print. The corners and border are delightful, there is a cowboy riding a saddled horse, an Indian chief with a teepee, a cowboy roping a calf, a longhorn cow, airplanes, a holstered gun, a ship, a pair of boots complete with spurs, and a saddle. This piece just emulates everything found in the 1940's perception of the American West. I took a video of it to help show the colors, but I can't figure out how to load it. You can hopefully see it here: (I'm not very good at this... :-) ) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZZS6py2mLLzLf8cpW-Mdh-h8cA4Ik9FD/view?usp=sharing It was designed and patented by Harry Rosenbaum of Denver, Colorado. He filed for the patent on November 28, 1940 (84 years ago) and it was approved on February 4, 1941. In the 1950's to ~1960, Mr. Rosenbaum had a business with a partner Max Kahn in Denver, Colorado. It was located on 13th and Broadway and called Western Art Manufacturing Company (see photo in description). Sadly, upon a quick search, that building appears to no longer be standing. Harry Rosenbaum is one of the few people who patented his designs. This design patent is No. D-125,005. There is a photo of the patent in the description, as well. This beautiful piece of Americana would be lovely hanging as art, for all to admire and appreciate. Of course, it is still supple and can be worn as a scarf, too. Photos are a big part of this description. Please ask any questions you might have before clicking that "Buy it Now" button... You know this would look great in your house, man cave, or your kid's bedroom! Thanks for looking, I hope you learned something new. :-)
