Description: This vintage Mexican doll is a true gem from the 1940s.She has a light complexion, beautiful silk thread black straight hair that is fashioned into two braids, nicely painted face with blue eyes and bright red lips, this 7 1/2" girl doll is made of composition material. She is articulated and arms and legs are relatively tight. She has intricate beading on her outfit, most of which is intact. I do see one tube bead that is slightly loose.She has painted socks and shoes. The composition on her head is showing some spliltting at the side seams below the ears - see photos - on both sides. This doll is a great addition to any collection. Although she is used, the doll is in excellent condition and will make a great play doll for children or a beautiful display for collectors.
