Description: Welcome to "Dallas Valley Discoveries". I have recently acquired the most amazing vintage watch collection at auction. This watch is from that collection, as are many other brands such as Girard Perregaux, Hamilton, Mido, Elgin, Benrus, and even Le Coultre. The collection also includes some lesser-known brands from the WW2 era and early midcentury, as well as some great 1970s pieces and high-end modern watches. I will be listing as quickly as I can, so please check frequently as these watches are first come first serve. Now, for the watch in this listing, continue reading below. This listing is for a very cool, vintage, nearly antique men's Art Deco Ingraham watch. I believe this to be an early to mid 1930s model, but it could be a mid to later 1930s, or possibly even a 1920s model. It's a fantastic watch, though! The watch is Art Deco in style, with lovely etching along the sides and outer edges. The case is rectangular in shape with bowed sides. It measures 28 mm across and 34 mm in length, excluding the lugs. The back of the case is snap back and shows a bit of wear (see photos). The crystal is celluloid and yellow tinted. It may have darkened a bit with age. Crazing has developed on the crystal's surface as a result of age. This is common for aged celluloid crystals. I believe the watch has its original bracelet style band. The band looks really nice. It has a folding clasp. The clasp won't snapped closed, so it needs repair. I've included photos of the unique movement to better answer questions buyers may have. The movement is stamped "The E. Ingraham Co. Bristol CT. U.S.A. Patents Pending. The watch isn't running. It does tick a little, but not consistently by any means, so the watch is sold for restoration/repair, and what a worthy project it is! This watch will make a great addition to one's vintage watch collection. Pictures are to be considered as part of the description. Please review the images for a better idea of condition, and I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Shipping will be $4.50 USPS insured first class, and i would be more than willing to combine shipping. I don't offer a return policy, but... i will stand behind my listings. if i make a mistake on my listing, or i misunderstand an item or miss a relevant flaw on the items listed, i will do ANYTHING in my power to make things right for the buyer, so bid with confidence.
