Description: This is a 1930s full length velvet opera coat with attached hood and three button closure. The buttons are velvet covered and original to the garment. There is some scuffing here and there but I think it really isn't noticeable when worn. The right shoulder has scuffing that be can felt but is hard to see. The sleeves are gathered at the shoulder. There is some soiling to the lining. The hem is in excellent condition. The union tag reads "National Coat and Suit Industry Recovery Board."
