Raphael Tuck & Sons was a business started by Raphael Tuck and his wife in Bishopsgate in the City of London in October 1866 and became defunct in 1959. Their Trademark was applied for and registered on 2 March 1881. Queen Victoria granted the firm the Royal Warrant of Appointment in 1893. Tuck cards thereafter bore the message "Art Publishers to Her Majesty the Queen." Future sovereigns continued the warrant of appointment. Alexandra was Queen of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Empress of India, from 22 January 1901 to 6 May 1910 as the wife of Edward VII. Since this card has "Publishers by Appointment to Their Majesties The King and Queen Alexandra," and Alexandra was queen between 1901 and 1910, this card must have been printing during that time period. It has wear consistent with its age including some stains (photos 7-11) and it has been signed (photos 3, 4). It also has a small tear along the fold at the bottom of the card (photos 3 and 5).
