Description: Presented is an ornate, 14 karat yellow gold hat pin. This classic, Etruscan revival style piece was made in the second half of the 1800s. The top is decorated with applied, twisted gold wire pieces. Although this piece is not marked, it has been tested with nitric acid and is guaranteed to be 14 karat purity. Only the head is 14k gold. The shaft is steel. This old piece is in great condition. There is a tiny crack to the side of the top, but it is hardly noticeable. There are no dents, no breaks, no other splits and no repairs.
