Description: 1024x768 Offered here a beautiful dressy Longines Ultra-Chron Automatic in 14K Gold case. The case measures 33.5 mm across by 39.5 mm long. Beautiful original oyster dial with big gold, faceted Arabic hour markers and date aperture at 3 o'clock. To quickly adjust the date, move hands past midnight and notice the date change. Then turn hands back to 10 o'clock and forward past midnight again. Repeat as necessary until you arrive at the desired date. Then set the correct time.The cross hairs dial is almost perfect, the hands in good condition.Acrylic crystal in very good condition too.The case is in good condition.Original Longines crown.It has a solid case back so to access the movement the crystal needs to be removed.Please note the presentation inscription on the back of the case. It can be filled in with gold using a laser welder.It would be at an additional cost of $100.To remove only the name would cost $50.The watch comes with a Longines leather band.At the time this watch was introduced to the market it was considered one of the most accurate watches. With the movement cal. 431 beating 36,000 beats per hour it achieved the precision of 2 seconds per day. 17 jewels movement, adjusted in 3 positions.The watch is running and keeping good time.
