M- Looks and sounds like new Ex Excellent No scratches that stand out, There is almost no background noise. VG++ Not quite as good as excellent, but real close to it VG+ Light scratches are evident on close examination, there is very little or no background noise VG Scratches or scuffs are visible, there will be light background noise. Still a very collectible 45 VG- Looks a little rough with scratches and wear evident, background scratchiness is audible G+ and G Lesser grades, looks scratched and somewhat beat, has a lot of scratchiness. Still plays through with no skips. Any record rated "G" will look pretty beat up with scratches and wear very evident but it will play through with no skips and the surface noise will not be more predominant than the recording.
