Image in excellent condition. ABOUT THE ARTIST: The artist Vidan (Vittorio Dangelico), born in Perugia, Italy, was destined for art from a young age. He studied at prestigious Italian institutions like Liceo Artistico di Milano and the Accademia delle Belle Arti. In 1988, he moved to the US, where he became a prominent illustrator for major publishers including Doubleday and Harper-Collins. Vidan's renowned uncle, Pino (1939–2010), had settled in the US earlier and inspired him. After two decades in illustration, Vidan transitioned to Fine Art in 2004, studying under Pino and establishing himself as a leading American Expressive artist with works collected across the US and Canada.
