Victorian Rockford Silver Plate Enameled Blue Art Glass Insert Pickle Castor

Description: This vintage pickle castor is a unique addition to any collection of silverware. The piece features an enameled blue art glass insert and is made by the Rockford Silver Co. and is marked Quadruple. The castor is composed of quadruple silverplate and is from the American Victorian period. It is a unit type piece and comes in a quantity of one. The detail in the metal is absolutely fabulous, as you can see from the photos. Very elaborate. Beautiful enameled flowers surround the rich blue art glass insert. This piece measures about 10 1/2" in height. Fantastic antique pickle castor.
