Description: Up for sale is a stunning vase by Bristol. It measures 15" tall and weighs somewhere between 3 lbs. The background colors are a mint green, with a pink rim and bottom. The rim is trimmed in gold and black. The vase is decorated with a large, hand painted monarch butterfly, pink columbine flowers and white lilies. There is a thick band of textured gold paint surrounding the butterflies and flowers. Photo #4 show's the back of the vase, which is decorated with water lilies and lily pads. This beautiful vase dates back to the mid 1800's. There are a few minimal flaws. If you look at photo #4, you'll see that there is a little bit of wear to the thick band of gold that surrounds one of the paintings, but it's small. Photo #11 show's a nick on the inner rim. Photo #10 show's a pop that happened during the manufacturing process. The last photo show's a small chip on the underside of the vase. Otherwise, in great condition. Please take a moment to look at my other auctions. I have another vase available that is identical, except that the butterfly is facing the other direction. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the large size of this vase, it will be expensive to ship. But if I over charge by any more than a dollar or two, I always refund the difference.
