Description: This Victorian English Pottery Homeland stag dinner plate with an acorn border is in exceptional condition: There are no chips, no cracks and there is no crazing. At 11 inches in diameter, this beautiful dinner plate (which is a match to Royal Stafford's stag plate) features deer in a serene, wooded scene. It is packed with gloss and shine. It is hard to spot any flaws at all on this piece, which was made in England, minus a few imperfections that are original to its production: a dot-sized bubble on the plate that cannot be seen, just felt with a fingertip; and a pin point-sized raised bump on the border of the plate that, again, cannot be seen, just felt with a fingertip (see last photo). The underside of the plate is marked "The Victorian English Pottery Est 1819 by Edward Challinor Microwave and Dishwasher Safe Made in England."
