Description: This is a beautiful example of early Victorian Art Glass. This Basket was constructed using Blue glass and marvering it in White Opal flakes and Ruby and Amber flakes and Silver Mica. The attached crystal Looped Thorn handle is free of any damage. The Basket sports a very tightly crimped edge and the weight is quite substantial. The pontil is ground and polished. It stands 8" tall. It's in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and no stains or mineral deposit. Any unusual white or dark spots shown in the photos are from camera glare.
