Description: Victorian Adirondack Tramp Art Framewith Vintage Valentin's Card insidecirca late 1800's I love everything about this sweet frame. It is hand made Tramp Art in the Adirondack Style. It is carved wood with a leaf in one corner. The inside is frame is painted gold. Inside is an old Valentine with a poem by Edward George Bulwer-Lytton (25 May 1803 – 18 January 1873) English writer and politician. The Poem on the backside of the card is "Since We Parted" Since we parted yester eve,I do love thee, love, believe,Twelve times dearer, twelve hours longer,—One dream deeper, one night stronger,One sun surer,—thus much moreThan I loved thee, love, before. There is so much attention to detail to this frame. On the back are tiny brass fixtures that hold the picture wire. There is a little finger hole to remove the backing.
