Description: For sale are 5 issues of the first volume of the New York Filmmakers Newsletter. The numbers included are: one, two, six, seven, and the double issue of nine & ten. The covers are beautiful, still vibrant printed images, and the contents of the magazine mainly concern the New York filmmaker community of the time. This includes film theory and criticism, equipment information, underground/avant-garde film festival advertisements, book reviews, and some exclusive interviews. Most of the content is typed text, but some images/designs are pictured throughout the issues. The first issue includes an EXCLUSIVE Kenneth Anger interview! These are extremely rare to find for sale! These early issues do not come up for sale often as their printings were very limited. They do show wear from age and storage. This includes minor page yellowing and minor corner, edge, and cover wear. There is minimal spine wear, the staples are still holding very well and the pages are able to be turned fairly easily without damaging the spine. They all have a stamp of the non profit organization they were deaccessioned from. I have pictured these stamps as best as I can. Please be sure to check all pictures to further judge condition. No returns. Message me with any questions, thanks!
