Description: DESCRIPTION: Very rare antique wood Goetz beer crate hole cover by HJ Barker & Co. Patented September 13, 1910. Marked No. 3; Gume (can't read what's in the center top) Cover; No. 3 Pat Sept. 13-1910; HJ Barker & Co; Distributed Chicago ILL. Made of tin or light metal with sharp triangle prongs for attaching to wood. Has considerable wear but is a must have collectible item. Came off of a very rough Goetz beer wood crate that the bottom and the lid were not capable of saving. MEASUREMENTS: 5" wide x 3 1/4" tall. MOST OF MY ITEMS ARE VINTAGE WITH SIGNS OF USE CONSISTENT WITH THEIR AGE. PLEASE VIEW PHOTOS AND ASK QUESTIONS.
