Description: Extrarodinarily rare antique blue opalescent rectangular shaped berry bowl made by AJ Beatty & Sons Glass Co. in its famous pattern known as "Beatty Rib," circa 1889. This striking vertical rib pattern came in white and blue opalescent and in several different shapes and pieces. This bowl measures about 5" long, 3 3/4" wide, and 1 1/2" tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, just occasional roughness on the interior rim and an occasional superficial scratch. This may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire this rare bowl. I have 3 available.
