Description: Up for sale is a very rare circa 1880s Parker Brothers "Good Game of Old Maid" matching card game. Set includes the Old Maid Card and the "A Phool" card which I assume is used like a joker card. Every set I've seen online is missing the "A Phool" card. A sale in 2022 without this card sold for $175.00. Contains 13 sets of matching cards with comical names such as Thieving Tom, a heavyset woman named Mrs. Biggs, a rotund child called Peter Pig, an artistic boy named Mike Angelo, and unfortunately a Mistah White card featuring a black man. The lid of the box is in fair shape, retaining most of the original label but is missing two of the sides. No instruction sheet. Box measures approximately 5 x 4 inches. Please see all photographs for condition and ask any questions prior to purchase. Would make a great addition to any vintage/antique game collection. Thanks for looking!
