Description: LOVELY Native American, Navajo signed sterling silver and turquoise feather design ring, size 5 1/2, sizable. This is a particularly fine example of traditional Native American jewelry. This ring is 7/8” long by 1/2” wide and weighs 3 grams. It features a 10 mm by 6 mm GENUINE Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabochon sawtooth bezel set at center with rope detail surrounding and a wonderful, curving feather, swirl and bead element above. Feathers are deeply revered by the Native Americans and symbolize high honor, power, wisdom, trust, strength and freedom. They are seen as gifts from the sky. This ring has a split shank and is very comfortable on the finger. It is in very good pre-owned condition with no damage other than, perhaps, very minor surface wear and/or oxidation. It is hand signed by the artisan, “JM”, I believe and it has been professionally tested as solid sterling silver.
