Description - This unusual sized sampler measures 8 inches high by 7 inches wide. This sampler sits in a plastic box. It can be removed, but I left it in. There are some small holes as shown in the pictures also the colors of the silk thread has faded to some degree. The last two pictures show the card that came with this sampler. It gives a description "extremely fine cross stitch, silk on linen, colors dim but original. Red, white, green, gold, blue and brown strawberry and vine border." etc. It also gives some documentation and some genealogy of Mary Jones's family tree in Bristol county Massachusetts.
