This JR 1" ring was introduced after WW-II to specifically go with the new 1" tube Weaver scopes (Redfield wasn't even in the scope business at the time) like the early Weaver K4 and KV scopes that were not sealed and could be disassembled to insert into these. The rings can be used with any Redfield turn-in front dovetail and dual windage rear bases and those made present day by Leupold, Burris, Millett and others.
