'In 1941, at the most sombre period of the war, history and popular music met in the person of Vera Lynn.' This is a 1st Edition / 1st Printing. Condition: Book - Very Good - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners and edges, a lean and slight crease to the spine, opens quite easily to a few pages, v.slight bumping to a few page corners, some marking and slight discolouration to the page edges, soft even tanning to the pages and there is an inscription to a previous owner inside. Dust Jacket - Good - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners and edges, numerous small nicks and tears and marking, scratches, fading, discolouration and creasing. The DJ is price clipped.
