Description: Vendo TV commercial, negatives, Gas station, Coca-Cola, Kansas City, 1960's. These 12 photos were taken by a KC photographer, from whose estate sale I acquired these negatives. They are in three strips of 4 each. They are 2.5 inches square. They were making a video commercial and these were photos were just capturing the details of the shoot. The company was Vendo, then a KC company. Vendo was purchased by the Sanden company and is now in Dallas Texas. The commercial is obviously set in the 1940's. I have many other Vendo negatives from the 60's and 70's...these are undated, but I believe there were taken in the 60's ....given the appearance of the cars and bystanders.... I have tried to find the location of this station...appears KC.....sign reveres to 7th street and the street sign says 12th street.... the market next door is "...ocks market" This is a great bit of vintage photography of KC....Gas stations, and Coca-cola. The client was Vendo... not sure how that fits in the images. Maybe just a PR piece. Send any questions you may have...
