With exceptional delineation and movement of design; in a smooth, elegantly flowing series of hooks, dips, loops and whorls, a simple but beautiful Veiligglas. Made in the 1950s era at the Amsterdam Veiligglas Factory, Opaques such as this one are not as common as the Veiligglas Wirepull type. With their varied and intricately detailed patterns, attractive 'swirls and tails,' and the milky opacity of their base glass, this interesting class make simple but beautiful collector's pieces. They are becoming harder to find and increasingly desirable, making very aesthetically appealing examples of the fantastic range of Dutch produced vintage marbles.
