It produces delicate light lilac-pink flowers on stalks that rise above blue-gray foliage with thin white margins. The new foliage has a pink tinge in early spring, and brushing against the plants releases a pleasant garlic-like aroma. Once established, it requires little care and adds wonderful texture and color to borders. This plant is a beautiful addition to rock or herb gardens, beds and borders, rock gardens, and cottage gardens.
