As the most heavily built of the Phlebiac brothers, he is a demon of brute force, often taking the lead when he is with his siblings. Created by Alan Moore and Bart Sears, The Vandalizer first made his appearance in the Violator miniseries and continued to be a significant presence in the Spawn saga. Despite his powerful build and destructive capabilities, The Vandalizer harbors a deep resentment towards his older brother, Violator, whom he despises more than any other. He is convinced of his superiority and believes he could easily defeat Violator, yet every attempt to do so ends in failure, with Violator proving his dominance time and again. This rivalry drives The Vandalizer's actions, fueling his persistent yet unsuccessful assassination attempts. Fifty-one years younger than Violator, The Vandalizer's character is defined by his bull-headed approach, using his physical prowess to vandalize his opponents, embodying the very essence of his name. His speech bubbles are distinctively yellow, a visual cue to his unique voice within the narrative. The Vandalizer's abilities are vast, including immortality, flame breath, superhuman agility, endurance, stamina, strength, and necroplasm magic healing, which allows him to recover from severe injuries by casting spells. He can also track using a blood pool from a victim, shapeshift, practice necromancy, possess others, alter his size, and has telepathic and teleportation skills. These powers make him a dangerous enemy to Spawn and a complex character within the Image Comics universe. This particular release of the Vandalizer figure is the very first of the nine known variants with it's gray skin appearance. “As one of the Violator's many brothers, Vandalizer was sent to Earth to push and prod the numerous Spawns throughout time.Vandalizer’s main target was Viking Spawn, and his protective armor and weapons reflect that time period. Unlike many of the Phleblac brothers, Vandalizer takes on his opponents face to face instead of manipulating them from afar unlike Violator.” Spawn Ultra-Action Figures, released in the mid-1990s, are a series of collectible toys based on the Spawn comic book series created by Todd McFarlane.
