It bears a handwritten gift inscription, and a small college stamp to the front free endpaper. The spine has a small tape residue, presumably from removal of a St Colm's College book label. The book has some external bumping (see pictures). It is internally clean. Binding is sound and square. A good sound example of the first printing of the first edition.
