Description: Used Late 80's (1987-1988) USA Kramer Nightswan Lightning - Original Run- The Real DealIt isn't perfect, but it's a damned fine example and better than most you will see. This is not a less expensive version, a modern reissue, a copy, or an end of production "fire-sale" G -Serial. This wasn't cobbled together from Ebay available parts, etc. or aftermarket suppliers. It's real. Free Shipping in Continental USA For sale I have a Lightly "used" 1988 Kramer Nightswan, and it's a very, very nice,clean example of one of the most iconic and desirable guitars of the 80's. This guitar was most notably associated with and endorsed by Vivian Campbell (guitarist for Whitesnake at that time but previously had been with Ronnie James Dio, and later with Def Leppard. As you know the Nightswan is arguably the best pure Kramer "superstrat" guitar that they ever rolled out. That's a real Floyd Rose Locking Tremelo Bridge and Lock Nut. The pickups were originally and are now Seymour Duncans (both JB and Full Shred) per factory specs. The body is Mahogany, and the neck is Maple with an Ebony fretboard. The guitar features black hardware including Schaller tuners, knobs, and the Floyd wrench holder and wrenches are also still present on the back of the headstock. The Floyd Rose Trem Bar included though not shown in most photos. The Finish: Nice and glossy "Lightning Bolt Finish". This clearcoat finish has not experienced widespread "cracking" so common to these models, but there is one that runs roughly from the bridge (low E string side) to the top of the face of the guitar (see pics), and other than that there are no more cracks. This is not a crack in the wood and you are seeing the finish under the "flash" of a camera. There are a few small chips along the edges but very small (see pictures). Overall, this is a used guitar so not perfect but it's a damned nice survivor guitar that is clean and unhurt. There is some light dimpling of frets in the lower register consistent with use. Again, see pictures but everything works as it should. This guitar has not been fooled with by an amateur, but only by trained professionals. Take a good look at the pictures and ask any questions - but as with any used guitar I can't tell you it's perfect, but it's a helluva nice piece. The case: It's a quality SKB case with a little wear and some scuffs here and there (what a case is for), but it's straight with no cracks or broken/missing latches.
