The LCD has some rubber cover that is slightly coming off. You can see in the photos. If you keep the lcd screen closed, you won't have to deal with this issue. There has been a small crack in the handle for a very long time. It has not given us any issues. Its just there and it doesn't effect anything. There was a wireless card in the back slot and we removed it and put a hard card stock there and screwed it down. That will prevent and debris going into the slot. The hours were checked and you can see them in the photos. Still a great cam. Comes exactly as shown with nothing else other than what you see. Just the base camera.
