If I've learned one thing in the many, many years I've played Golf, it's that you should never ridicule, orally or to yourself, the odd looking putter that one of the other guys in your foursome is using. And especially don't get into a bet with him till you see him putt! Because if you do, the guy is going to putt "Lights Out" with it. Usually happens every time I've ever done it. I've never seen one of these putters before, so I may not be describing it correctly. It is Mallet Shaped, but it is not a solid head. It has pockets in the bottom to lighten it, but it also has a place for two screw in weighted washers to be added. This putter only has one, and I don't know if it supposed to have two or not. This one is weighted in the toe, so maybe it is set up to keep you from pushing your putts to the right. But the fun is going to be trying it in all possible combinations to see how it putts. The shaft sticker has no name of who made it, but it says that this putter is patented, and is angled near the hosel to give it a flat lie. The grip, which is in good shape, has the Guidestar name on top, and is round with a flat on the topside. But it might be a little bit better with a scrubbing or two with saddle soap.
