Description: This is a ACCUPRO ER40 type collet chuck with a HSK63A shank. It has a 4" gage length, which is the length from the back of the flange to the end of the nut. They are marked ER40-4.00 and on MSC's website they note they are balanced to 30000 RPM's. New MSC lists them for $267.63 & part number is 89667992, so this should be a great buy for someone!
