Description: Up for auction is a Used DIY power bank / battery / inverter. This is my DIY project, it was pieced together over the years from surplus and new parts. It has powered my refrigerator thru 2 power outages. Its fully functional, but keep in mind, its a rough DIY project, and buyer should have knowledge of low voltage battery and 120v ac "best practices". NOTE: For DIY -advance Hobbyist. Sold AS-IS Case is a repurposed Sharp video projector case, has remnants of old foam, and writing on both sides in silver sharipe (see photo). Construction is heavy plastic with metal rails, cast latches. its well matched to the load, and the size is perfect to hold the inverter and 6 battery packs along with ample foam padding. inverter is a 36v ebay special, pure sine 1500 watt, handy dc volt input display. Pretty standard stuff, does what it says, its not super efficient. but it also outputs 1500 watts, with a peak of 3000watts, which the batteries are capable of sustaining. The batteries are getting a bit old, they were from that "hoverboard" craze, they are 36v and range in Ah around the 3.2 mark. 10S 2P configuration. Auction includes 8 packs total; The 2 individual packs pictured are the 2 lowest testing. Each pack has test data written in sharpie on label. The charger: Ebay special, 42v 1.6A this thing gets HOT! you must take the battery packs out of circuit and charge them individually. you MUST let this charger cool between packs, 2 hours charge, 2 hours cool down, per pack. All interconnects are made using Anderson Power-poles. Weight is roughly 28 pounds with case, inverter and 6 battery packs
