Description: Older B/H Sovereign Eb Cornet. Very nice horn with all parts working. For what it's worth, I've played way more expensive Eb's that do not have the overall eveness and intonation this has! Not cosmetically beautiful, but is in terrific working shape. For an Eb cornet, it plays very well in tune and has a very nice sound. I've even used it in classical symphonies where conventional trumpets are "too loud" with great success. I hate to let this go for a variety of reasons, but it is time to start cleaning out the house for me. No dings, dents that I see...just discoloration at contact points and worn lacquer. Also, model has a 2 -piece bell. Much lacquer has worn off but some remains. Cosmetically, this would be a beautiful horn with a re-plating. I can't seem to find a serial number. I'm lowering my intended asking price for the amount of missing lacquer. Sale is final. Please feel free to contact if you need more information. Thanks for looking.
