We are selling this in used, "as-is" condition. This trumpet has the original finish with less than 5% wear with minor dings on the bell and stem. It does need a complete flush and cleaning. This was built by Couesnon who was an instrument builder in France. The factory burned down in the 70's and it was never rebuilt. The Lafayette Series was promoted as the student line. The 2nd slide pull knob is missing as you can see in the photos. The valves are nickel plated. They have tight air compression and show no wear. The slides and valves all work freely. Specifications:Key of Bb Serial #71478 4 5/8" Bell Made in France. .456" Bore Nickel silver lead pipe. Standard water key on the main tuning slide. This includes a good used case (but it is not the original case). The case needs the right lid corner glued or perhaps an "L" bracket added. Includes a used Jupiter 7C mouthpiece.
