Description: Please read the entire description.This sale is for one (1) khaki/tan (the color is slightly darker khaki than appears in the picture) M1 carbine style sling newly manufactured by Indian Creek Trading Co. / Patriot Military Trading Co. in Chesapeake, Virginia USA. Please check out my other sales if you prefer the OD green version. The sling is manufactured utilizing khaki in color 1 inch wide cotton webbing, genuine Scovill "DOT" "Lift the Dot" snap, and US military spec steel adjusting slide. For a touch of nostalgia and additional authentic detail, the "Lift the Dot" snap is attached utilizing original WW2 era US Navy issue United Carr setting dies. This is not a cheap foreign made web sling with flimsy hardware like many others found for sale on the internet. Additionally, many reproduction slings found for sale are shorter in length and manufactured with webbing that is thicker than original carbine sling webbing and does not fit properly around the oiler in the stock. Buy one of those for $2.00 less than this one and you will regretfully see what I am talking about. Be advised that there are slight to large variations in the tolerances in the stock oiler/sling well of the millions of original military and after market stocks out there and mounting slings, original or current manufactured, may be tight and difficult to install.
