Description: 1944 M1 SLING CANVAS This is an original sling made during WWII. Heavy canvas with a simple closure making it easier to use than the M1907 leather sling. Nice condition overall with markings B.M. Co. 1944. Great to see a nice sling like this nearly 80 years old now. Has the correct flat closure used early in the war. Fits the M1 Garand, M1903, M1903a3, M1903a4, Reising, and others. Not the M1 carbine which used a thinner sling.
