Description: Up for sale is this terrific 1940 travel issue of U.S. Camera Magazine. The magazine was published for June/July of that year, and is issue #10. The magazine measures 12.5" by 12" and is 92 pages in length. This issue features work by a number of featured photographers including Ansel Adams (and others I probably should know, but don't!) There is a beautiful full color section to commemorate the 1939-40 New York World's Fair. The magazine has some ragged places on the spine, as you can see in the picture, but that only effects the cover sheet. Inside, the magazine is tightly bound and shows very little if any wear. There is no writing, no tears, stains, folds, or other damage present. The inquiry service page (made of a heavier card stock) is not in the binding but is tucked inside, as it was when I got it. This is an outstanding collectible for any fan of photographic history. Please note: there is a feature on photographing the human form that does contain a nude female from the waist up.
