Description: USAF challenge coin from the 337th Airlift Squadron. The 337th has been flying C-5 Galaxy heavy transport aircraft out of Westover Air Reserve Base in Massachusetts since the mid 1960s. Good looking challenge coin with great enamel paint. I don't know the history of the coin, but it was found among my late Fathers effects, and he was an Air Force fighter pilot, so I can only assume it was presented to him or traded for at some point. The photos are of the very challenge coin you are bidding on, not a "similar" item.
