Description: This is a very unusual piece that has an ormolu chair shaped pedestal in the center of the box to hold a watch or ring or special item. A tiny silk cushion sits atop the pedestal. The other unusual part is the top is slanted to allow easier viewing into the box. The entire box sits on four lovely, shaped legs. the top is hinged and has a clasp closure. All of the glass is thick and beveled. I see no damage to any of the glass. The silk lining is deteriorating. This lovely piece measures 3.23" wide, 3.15" deep, 3.53" tall in the back, and 2.6" tall in the front. it weighs 11.6 ounces. The entire box could use a good cleaning.
