Description: Unisex Pre-owned Vintage Black Lip Service Shirt with ruching/lace-up circa 1992. Made from 100% cotton. Made in Los Angeles, United States. Label says "Lip Service Clothes from Hell! Los Angeles+USA." This is a rare, vintage Lip Service shirt from the early 1990s, featuring a lace-up front and long ruched sleeves that can be adjusted to length by the lacing running through them. Shirt can be pulled over so no need to lace anything every time. Cropped length at back and sides, with long, pointed hemline in front. This will fit men, women, any gender. Perfect for Goth, Rock, Glam, Metal, Pirate looks. A relic of the Los Angeles rock and roll scene of the early 1990s. Shirt is in very good condition considering it's over 30 years old. The black coated metal grommets on the front have a bit of greenish patina on the wrong side, which is typical of metal this old. Chest width is approximately 38" and can be adjusted wider or narrower with the lace-up front. Neck is approximately 16", but has an open, low cut which is much bigger than that. Shoulder to shoulder width is about 16". Length from High Point of Shoulder to front Hem is about 25", with the centre front cut longer to form dramatic points, echoing the pointed collar. The hanger perhaps better approximates how this shirt fits on a man, the shirt is also shown on a women's size 8/34B dress form for comparison. Care label suggests to machine wash cold/tumble dry low, but hand-washing cold, hang to dry would be better.
