Description: What an odd, unique pan! I have owned it for decades and still haven’t decided exactly how it’s meant to be used, so I have just enjoyed it as a collectible. It seems that the tin would not be thick enough to bake a nice cake, and it’s a little ornate to mold congealed salads. Has a touch of rust where the base joins the side, although it is molded, not seamed. Wow, it shows up needing cleaning in the photo more than in person! If you collect kitchen items, this is a goodie to add to your collection. Or you might want to try you hand at baking a cake in it. It would certainly be a unique cake! It’s earned its keep at my house for decades by just being an oddity and a rarity. But it’s tired of sitting in my dish pantry and is ready for a new home. Please? I have SO many items listed right now as I have been cleaning out two attics, my sewing/craft room and my dish panty of things I’ve collected and used for decorating for decades. I just need to find new homes for many of them — it’s sort of like putting your children up for adoption! LOL
