Lauderdale, Florida, on July 12, 2022, on the beach along A1A and Sunrise Blvd. The necklace length is approx. 18 1/2 inches, and can be altered upon request. This authentic shell pendant necklace is one of a kind. KekaShells was inspired by a trip to the beach with my son. I am a single mother who was looking for something fun, active and cheap to do with my kids (who are 7, 13, and 18). My son and I had so much fun collecting shells, and really looking at them, as a 7 year old would do, and I realized we take all of this beauty for granted. I went back to the beach the following Saturday morning with my 18 year old daughter and found shells with holes... searched... We didn't get to search long as the rain moved in, but it was our first try. And it was fun. I made a necklace and showed my kids. They loved it ...and the 2nd Collection was curated on a Tuesday afternoon out with my son, Kris. We were really surprised at the difference between the shells we found at the first beach and the second. We can't wait to explore more.
