Description: Looking to sell a very UNIQUE pair of early Vaquero style spurs. These spurs are unmarked and in very good working condition. The shank and rowel work are exceptonal. They come w/ a pair of black floral tool straps and Jesus Tapia style 1 1/2" silver "nipple" conchos. The conchos are very reminiscent of Tapia's work but he didn't mark all of his pieces, so I can't say w/ certainty that these are his. The straps were riveted on after they went over the inside button, so you can't take the straps off. These also have heavy double chains. These were used by the previous owners grandfather in the 60s to rustle cattle. That being said, they could have very well been purchased way before that though. Rowel Diameter: 2" Number of points on Rowel: 20 Heel band opening: 3 1/2" Overall length: 6 1/2" Please see pics and you be the judge! If you are a fan of Western Americana or are looking to add a UNIQUE piece to your collection, these gorgeous spurs are a must-have.
