Famous for being the first appearance of future X-Men member, and fan favorite, Gambit. It has been bagged, boarded, boxed, and stored in my climate-controlled home for more than 30 years. This comic book is nearly flawless. The cover is bright, with no chips, creases or stains. The corners and edges are almost perfect, with the top-right corner having the tiniest deviation from a perfect edge. The binding has no creases, but there are suggestions of near-creases with no color loss. The interior pages are white and bright. I looked at a dozen different VF/NM 9.0 listings of #266 sold on eBay, and this is better than most if not all of them, including ones graded 9.0 by CGC. Its condition is listed as Very Fine/Near Mint (9.0), but I make no guarantee of how the comic could be graded if sent to CGC or other service. Numerous high quality close-up photos have been provided, so I suggest you look carefully and make your own assessment of the condition before making a purchase decision.
